Welcome to our School Council

Our school council comprises of 12 children from across the school, one boy and one girl from each class from Years 1 to 6. A class election is held every September when each class votes for their own two representatives.

One of the main roles of the School Council is in charity work and they regularly get together to suggest ideas for fundraising activities. Recent charities that have been supported are: – Macmillan Cancer Support, Cystic Fibrosis, Save the Children, British Heart Foundation, Sports Relief and Children in Need.

The school council recognises achievements within school, both staff and pupils, and hold regular meetings to make nominations for a school council award which is presented in school assemblies.
